The paper presents counterarguments against the criticism of the Polish social psychology of the 90. and 2000. presented by Michał Bilewicz and Mateusz Olechowski (2014). I argue that the authors: (1) have not really read the papers they criticize, (2) do not take into account the socio-political context of the 90. and use the term „system justification” in the simplified way, (3) ignore the non-ideological character of the empirical findings, (4) draw an unjustified division between the „right-wing”(neoliberal) old generation and the „left-wing” young generation of Polish social psychologists.
